Being included in that conversation means a lot, and I wanted to share it here with the community that made it possible.
The Story Behind the Page
In the interview, I talk about how Mary J. Blige Fashion Book started — not as a business plan or a brand strategy, but as something I genuinely needed and couldn't find.
It was 2019. Mary was on the Royalty Tour with Nas, and I became completely captivated by her fashion. The boots, the hats, the outfits changing city to city — I was following every stop just to see what she would wear next. I was connecting with other fans on Instagram who felt the same way, and I kept looking for a page that identified the designers, the stylist, the glam team behind every look.
That page didn't exist. So I built it.
What started as one fan documenting one tour has grown into a community of thousands of followers across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, and this website — all dedicated to preserving Mary's fashion history one look at a time.
The Part That Stays With Me
The interview asks about proud moments, and there's one I'll carry with me for the rest of my life.
During Mary's Las Vegas residency in 2026, I had the chance to meet her. I told her who I was and mentioned Mary J. Blige Fashion Book. She recognized the page. She thanked me.
